Your enthusiasm:

• You will develop and maintain a qualified sourcing strategy for the assigned commodities in coordination with business stakeholders to meet current and future product requirements.
• Manage the strategic vendor relationship. You will have to oversee the supplier relationship, including supplier qualification, classification, performance management and performance improvements.
• Understand the technology roadmap of critical suppliers and communicate throughout the organization with a formal commodity strategy.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Management, and Supplier Quality to ensure suppliers are meeting program milestones, delivering material on-time, fulfilling quality requirements, and following proper change management procedure to maintain control of costs.
• Tracks the BOM cost for assigned components as the program/design progresses towards serial production.
• Control the costs by having a strong understanding of spend and promote cost breakdown analysis, run regular benchmarks against KPI.
• Key element is to demonstrate the supply base resiliency with the team monitoring material availability and ensuring risk mitigation plans/projects are up to date.
• You will collaborate closely with other functions to initiate, promote and support projects execution in order to bring value on Total Cost of Ownership, risk mitigation, quality, cash, lead time, material availability. You will contribute to new product introduction, transfer of technology and other R&D projects.
• Support in escalating topics with focus to resolve potential risk to business.
• Power user for guided buying tool, support the local organization in PO process for indirect material.
• You ensure a continues complexity reduction by minimizing number of components and supplier relationships.
• Optimization of categories’ supply-chains, while considering sustainability, quality, cost and IncoTerm lead-time delivery based in order to provide SEMG with competitive advantages.
• Proactive support to SEMG’s innovation pipeline, while involving business innovation partners.
• You will be accountable and supporting for budget execution, quality maintenance, production and delivery planning and long-term seasonal assurance of supply objectives to ensure that the supply chain is established and achieved.
• You will be in charge to optimize BOM-based Cost of Purchase overall cost of materials.
• You will work closely with Category Management to quote new and existing products. (ebikes).
• Able to make sourcing decisions KPI-based on overall cost and benefit including price, duty, freight, flexibility, service, performance, quality, and terms & conditions.
• You will be in the lead to perform supplier market analysis, category analysis, and supply risk analysis and the map of how sourcing process and channels work within the ebike business and identify improvements to be targeted.
• Ensure Compliance to SEMG business principles, policies, standards and Procurement Policy, Procurement Standardized Model, SEMG Supplier Code, Best Practices.
